The Time Machine is a sci-fi time travel flick based off of the 1895 H. G. Wells novella of the same name. Rod Taylor stars as George Wells, a Victorian-era inventor at the turn of the century who somehow invents a time travel machine, the effects of which have already started to take a toll on him. His friends dismiss his claims at first despite him showing proof, but undeterred he continues using his machine to travel into different time periods, both in the past and in the future. The inevitable adventure comes after his time machine is destroyed in one of these other time periods. I didn't read the entire synopsis, but that's the gist.
