TNT Preview: Ivy
'Ello! I finally got those late Files posts up this past weekend; I hope you enjoyed them both. They were self-indulgent as shit, but I still hope you liked the choices. Anyway, for the last TNT of the month we'll be watching the 1947 crime flick Ivy.

Joan Fontaine stars in this film about a married seductress who decides to murder her husband in order to get out of a boring marriage, then pin the murder on one of her two lovers. Somewhere along the way, however, she becomes trapped in her own seemingly perfect plans. Patric Knowles and Herbert Marshall co-star as Ivy's two lovers, and Richard Ney rounds out the cast as Ivy's husband and the target of her murderous plans.
I couldn't find a trailer of Ivy on YouTube, TCM doesn't have any clips, and there are no online streaming links so this is definitely one you'll have to catch on Thursday when it airs at 8pm EST. See you soon!
