I chose the musical Deathtrap for today's #atvdailycinema. The first film of Michael Caine's that I'd seen was Miss Congeniality and now looking at the list of some of his former work it doesn't seem comparable, but I loved him in it regardless. This musical is about a playwright who, after a string of Broadway flops, plans to kill a beginner and steal his script. When I hear the word 'musical,' I think of movies like Grease or Victor/Victoria, so I'm not sure how this will play out in said format but I'm here for it either way. Happy viewing!
