I chose Shall We Dance as today's Daily Cinema because it seems to be one of Fred Astaire's signature films. I've actually never seen an Astaire film before so I'm pretty excited. Shall We Dance stars Astaire with his frequent partner Ginger Rogers in a musical comedy about a dancer and a showgirl having to fake being in love for the publicity, then actually falling in love with each other. I've read countless books based on this premise and despite knowing the ending, I'm still a sucker for them, every time. lol I'm sorry that this is going up so late; I've had a temp job for the past couple of weeks and it's been taking a toll on everything. I'll be finished on Friday though so there won't be anymore late posts, I promise. Happy viewing!
