TNT Preview: Smart Blonde

Our final TNT this month comes to us in the form of 1937's comedy flick Smart Blonde, starring TCM's profiled star of the day, Glenda Farrell, alongside Barton MacLane and Winifred Shaw.

This film stars Glenda Farrell as an ambitious reporter who strong-arms and forces her policeman boyfriend to let her assist him in solving a murder case. I've never seen a Glenda Farrell film before but I'm interested to see both what this murder case is that her character is itching to get on, and how she ends up getting her way in the end. I also want to see if this is a dark or dry comedy. Not much to say about it; I've never heard of the stars nor the film so I'm going in completely unaware. This isn't really a trailer; it's just a scene from the movie. Take a look:
