Daily Cinema: The Odd Couple (1968)

The Odd Couple is a classic comedy starring Walter Matthau as the divorced, sloppy Oscar and best friend to neurotic neat freak Felix, who is thrown out of his house by his wife. Felix moves in with Oscar and the two struggle not to kill each other. lol I love this movie; it's one of the few classics that my uncle and I make sure to watch together every time we can catch it. If you've never seen it I highly recommend it. If you're a Golden Girls fan, you'll also catch a supporting role by Herb Edelman (Stan) as one of Felix and Oscar's poker buddies. We also have a TNT Alert a little later in the evening; The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3 was, for me, a different role than I was used to seeing Walter Matthau in and it gave me the gold that is Hector Elizondo in a villainous role. lol

If you watch The Odd Couple (and why wouldn't you?), tag your thoughts with #atvdailycinema so I can see them and if you watch any of today's other films, use the tags #suts or #summerunderthestars to share your thoughts with everyone else. See you tomorrow!
