That Certain Woman stars Anita Louise as Flip, the handicapped society wife of Henry Fonda's playboy character Jack, who at one time was very much in love with Bette Davis' Mary, a gangster's widow. Mary has to fight for society's approval despite being from the wrong side of the tracks, but Mary and Flip's shared history with Jack brings their paths together in a way neither of them expected. I've seen this film before and I can't wait to watch it again. If you're watching along with me, tag your thoughts about #atvdailycinema so I can see them. As usual, you can see the larger conversation on all of the day's films by using TCM's tags of #suts and #summerunderthestars. See you tomorrow!
