Adam and Evelyne (or Evalyn) stars Stewart Granger as Adam, a gambler who is forced to do better with his life when his friend dies and appoints Adam the guardianship of his teen daughter, who Adam sends off to boarding school soon afterward. As pen pals, the girl begins to think Adam is her father and all is fine, until she returns from boarding school, having blossomed into a beautiful woman, and Adam realizes he is in love with her. This one is on rather early, so I'd DVR it if you're trying to keep up with this month's Daily Cinemas. If and when you do watch it, tag your thoughts with #atvdailycinema so I can see them, and use #suts or #summerunderthestars if you'd like to share your thoughts about the day's films with everyone else. See you tomorrow!
