Daily Cinema Double Feature: Fallen Angel (1945) and Brainstorm (1965)
In our second and final Daily Cinema Double Feature, we have two late night films to watch. I'm sorry for not being able to choose and for choosing two films that air so late in the lineup, but when I saw the plot summaries for both films I knew I was going to watch them both anyway. lol
Fallen Angel stars Dana Andrews as a scheming, down on his luck man who, in order to marry the woman he actually desires, plots to marry then abandon a passive heiress. When the woman he really desires ends up dead, he finds himself framed for the crime.
Brainstorm is a serious change of pace for me--it's a horror--and stars Dana Andrews as another scheming man, this one a scientist who falls in love with a woman and later learns that she is his boss's wife. The two have an affair and our murderous scientist decides to fake going insane in order to kill his boss and run off with his wife. This is the last film in the lineup and Fallen Angel is on shortly before that, so these are two films you'll definitely have to DVR.
If you do watch them--live or not--you can share your thoughts about the films using the tag #atvdailycinema. If you're watching other films in today's lineup use the overall tags of #suts or #summerunderthestars to talk with everyone else. See you tomorrow!
