Daily Cinema: The Owl and the Pussycat (1970)

The Owl and the Pussycat stars Barbra Streisand as Doris, a prostitute who gets evicted from her apartment due to the complaints of her stuffy neighbor Felix, and to get back at him she moves into his apartment in the middle of the night. Their often contentious relationship gets them into a number of conundrums, which they don't hesitate to argue their way through. I've always pictured Barbra Streisand the picture of class and elegance, so I'm really intrigued to see this movie. If you watch it, tag your thoughts about it with #atvdailycinema so I can see them. The overall tags are, as always, #suts and #summerunderthestars so that you can join the conversation with everyone else watching the day's films. See you tomorrow!
