Daily Cinema: Command Decision (1948)
Command Decision stars Clark Gable as a senior flight commander in the final days of World War II. The Nazis step up their weaponry in an effort to hold off the opposing forces, so in order for the US to respond in kind the commander has to send his troops on suicide missions across Germany and Gable's commander character is the one tasked with the unfortunate responsibility. I'm not really one for war movies because most of them (for me) are so realistic they're painful to watch, but because I'm used to seeing Clark Gable in other kinds of films I thought this would be a good switch in genre.
