Daily Cinema: The Girl From Missouri (1934)

Today's film, The Girl from Missouri, is a comedy starring Jean Harlow as small-town girl Eadie who moves to New York with the goal to marry rich without sacrificing her integrity in the process. Franchot Tone co-stars as the wealthy man in question, who falls in love with her to his father's dismay, and the latter tries to keep the two apart. I love me some Jean Harlow and we've had some heavy films the past couple of days so I thought it was time for a change. We're not on any Previous Alerts! today, which is a rarity. As I'm probably going to say again sometime this month, don't get used to it. lol

This film is on rather late so I'd suggest DVR'ing it and just watching it later. If you're going to be online during today's lineup, use the tag  #summerunderthestars to join in the conversation. If you watch The Girl From Missouri, tag your entries with #atvdailycinema so I can see them. See you tomorrow!
