Daily Cinema: The Young in Heart (1938)

The Young in Heart is a comedy film that focuses on the antics of a family of con artists, headed by former actor patriarch Sahib. Janet Gaynor plays the daughter George-Anne, who alongside her brother, is looking for a come-up in the form of a wealthy partner. The police, who are alerted to their activities, give them tickets out of the country, where they meet an elderly woman they try to butter up in an effort to swindle her. But per usual with these schemes, things don't turn out the way everyone expected. This film airs in the morning and there aren't really any streaming links for it, so this is definitely a DVR day.
