Super Late Update!...and Chit Chat
Hi! I'm sorry for the really late update but this week has been crazy with family issues, so I wasn't really thinking about TNT for a lot of the time. Needless to say, there won't be a TNT this week. lol I've been caught up with that and arranging the last bit of posts into a schedule for what I'm calling the ATV Octoberfest, which I'll get to in a minute. But because of all of the frenzy with figuring out a schedule for that, I debated whether or not to even do TNT for this month. I was hoping that there'd be more scary flicks to feature but TCM surprised me this month by making the majority of this month's TNTs comedies instead. It kills me because I always hope for that but don't get it, now when I actually don't want them, there they are. Story of mah life. lol I think what I'm going to do this month is feature a classic horror film that we can watch online instead. If you'd like to see the original TNT choices for the month instead, I'll still post them per usual, but the horror flick I chose for the week will also be featured and I'll leave it up to you.
Now on to ATV Octoberfest. For the past couple of years, October has become that time for me to celebrate all things creepy, haunted and scary (I don't do gore lol) but because this is a blog that celebrates old things, I want to look at old creepy, haunted and scary things. I didn't get to participate last year because of my blogger timeout, but my laptop has held up so I want to do as much as it lets me. It won't be a daily thing like SUTS; this one is every other day, with the final post being on Halloween. Most of this is pretty common knowledge stuff if you like to research creepy or haunted places, but I wanted to include them anyway. I just thought it would be fun to go through some of those things and places and get ourselves in the Halloween spirit. I think I've cooked up some fun posts, the first of which you'll see later on today. It should have been up yesterday, but....it's me we're talking about here. Are you really surprised that it's late? lol After today though, everything should be according to schedule so let's see if I can rise to the occasion and stick to it. It's a weird thing, my brain. I am the type of person who thrives and feels more organized, more sure of what to do, when there is a schedule of some kind to keep me in line. But I am also a raging procrastinator/perfectionist, and I usually have trouble sticking to said schedule. I am a walking contradiction. SMH Again, story of mah life. lol See you later today!
