Today's #atvdailycinema pick is the drama Meet John Doe, which co-stars Gary Cooper and my girlcrush spirit animal Barbara Stanwyck with the latter as a recently fired reporter who writes a fake story in an effort to get her job back. Needing a face to carry the story, Gary Cooper's character, in need of money, is hired and an unintentional political revolution kicks off. But will it pay off for everyone in the end? I've seen quite a few of Barbara Stanwyck's films and a couple of Gary Cooper's, but this one I haven't seen yet so that's why I went with it. Happy viewing!
