Although Monsieur Verdoux has an amazing synopsis, I had to go with The Pilgrim as our Daily Cinema choice. Since our TNT with Charlie Chaplin is a regular film, I wanted to go for what he was most known for as our Daily Cinema choice. The Pilgrim is a short silent comedy about a man who escapes from prison and goes on the run. He decides to settle into a small town for the time being and ends up becoming the pastor, of all things, of the town's church. I have to see how that plays out, especially without dialogue. lol Today's Twitter tags are #ChaplinTCM for the day's movies, and #atvchaplin for our Daily Cinema. You already know our usual TNT tag, and since I won't be able to watch make sure to keep me updated. See you back here tomorrow!
