I've never seen an Alexis Smith film before, so I would be so excited to watch today's films....if I still had my satellite on. lol I'm considering starting a Go Fund Me account. I mean, since blogging is sort of my job, satellite is kind of like a work-related expense, right? Right?? I kid. Anyway, I chose the suspense film Conflict, partially because Bogey is in this film and I love his work, and also because I loved the brief plot synopsis that I read. An unhappily married husband (Bogey) plots to murder his wife so he can marry her younger sister (Smith), who he is in love with. I can see Bogey making a successful villain, and I want to see how the younger sister plays into all of this. It reminds me a bit of Suspicion with the whole spousal murder angle. It's on pretty late though, so I'd suggest DVR'ing it if you want to see it. Today's TCM tag is #SmithTCM and our Daily Cinema tag is #atvsmith. See you tomorrow!
