April's first TNT is the 1963 romantic comedy The Thrill of it All, in tribute to Doris Day, whose 90th birthday falls on Thursday.
James Garner and Doris Day are a married couple in this movie whose lives are turned upside down when Beverly (Day) is selected as the spokesperson for a new soap. She skyrockets to fame and as her popularity increases, she sees less and less of her family. I'm guessing hubby can't stand it. I didn't want to read too much of the plot, but here's the trailer:
The Thrill of it All will be on Thursday at 8pm EST on TCM.
