TNT Preview: Nowhere to Go

This week's TNT falls on the day that TCM's Summer Under the Stars has designated for Maggie Smith, and they are presenting us with 1958's crime film Nowhere to Go as a result. In this flick, Maggie stars alongside George Nader and Bernard Lee.

Like I said the last time we featured one of Maggie Smith's films, I haven't seen too much of her earlier work. I have never heard of this movie before so I'm not quite sure what to expect. TCM describes the movie as being about a burglar on the run who takes up with an innocent English girl and finds refuge. This would explain the quote on the poster. LOL So I guess we can only "assume" whose arms dude runs into, right? ::sarcasm:: Anywho, I have to wonder if he's running to her arms to hide out and ends up falling in love along the way, or if he's just using her, body and home, while he's on the run. Guess we'll find out. I'm sorry, I couldn't find a good trailer for the flick but catch it with me on Thursday at 8pm EST!
