We've got another silent this week! 1926's Flesh and the Devil, starring Greta Garbo and John Gilbert, is our TNT.
Flesh and the Devil stars Greta Garbo as a femme fatale who ends up coming between two childhood friends as over time, they both fall in love with her. One falls in love with her first, but as things unfold, he is sent away and leaves her in the care of his best friend. You can guess what probably comes next. TCM describes the ending as a surprise, and I didn't want to read the rest of the plot and end up spoiling it, so I guess we'll see what happens. Here's the trailer:
