Temporary Hiatus

Howdy folks! In case you haven't noticed by the lack of posts, I'm out of commission again. I swear if its not one thing its another. If you follow ATV on Twitter then you may have seen me mention a couple of weeks ago that my sinus infection came back for round 3 and knocked me on my ass. It didn't bring the fever with it this time, but the infection itself has worsened significantly since March, which made the resulting chest congestion I usually get worse as well so now i'm going to need antibiotics. I'm feeling better now but i suspect it wont last long unless i get meds.

Anywho, shortly after I began to get better last week, I started prepping the week's Files posts and then got hit with obstacle #437. I was taking a break from a post and talking to my mom when we both heard a small 'pop' sound. When I looked in the direction of the laptop I could have sworn I saw a small puff of smoke, but by the time i blinked it was gone. When I checked the computer out everything seemed fine and nothing else seemed amiss, so we chalked the whole thing up to being the regular weird things we see and hear in the house and forgot about it. It wasn't until a couple of hours later when I was back in my room trying to charge the laptop that I finally noticed what had happened-as it turns out, that small 'pop' and puff of smoke were legit; my charger had crapped out on me.

That was a week ago and my pockets have been quite thin lately, so I haven't had the money to buy a new one yet. I'm typing this post up from my phone, i can't prep a post with links properly on it, and all my pages for the post I was prepping are on my very dead laptop, so I realized it would be easier to just put ATV on hiatus for a little while. I won't be able to write up my full TNT posts until I'm back on the laptop, but I'll still be writing them out on Twitter. Hopefully I won't be out too long; I was getting ready to start my vintage field trip series and was excited about getting to write about them. But anyway, I just wanted to get it up here that I'll be on the sidelines for a little while, but as always, please have a little patience with me and I'll be back to talking your ears off in no time.
