Octoberfest 2018: TCM Halloween Lineup

Hi! I've been sharing the TCM Halloween lineup every year as part of Octoberfest mainly to suit those who either have no life and intend to be at home on Halloween or those who can't wait for a day of classic horror films. I am part of the 'all of the above' crowd, so this lineup is right up my alley. lol #ATVLoserSquad stand up. 😂This year TCM's featuring one of the kings of classic horror, Mr. Vincent Price, so the primetime lineup will be dedicated to a few of his films. 6:00 AM Hands of a Stranger (1962) Paul Lukather, Joan Harvey, James Stapleton A brilliant pianist turns into a murderer after an experimental hand transplant compels him to kill.
7:30 AM Dementia 13 (1963) William Campbell, Luana Anders, Bart Patton Members of a feuding Irish family begin to die one after the other in order to free up the family fortune. 
9:00 AM Cat People (1942) Simone Simon, Tom Conway, Jane Randolph A young newlywed lives in fear of suffering the same curse as the other women in her home village--becoming bloodthirsty panthers after discovering human intimacy and passion. 
10:15 AM Carnival of Souls (1962) Candace Hilligoss, Herk Harvey, Frances Feist A young woman survives a car crash that claims the lives of her friends, but is constantly haunted by menacing phantom figures afterward. 
11:45 AM Spirits of the Dead (1968) Vincent Price, Peter Fonda, Jane Fonda A film version of short stories based off of the writings of Edgar Allen Poe. 
2:00 PM From Beyond the Grave (1973) Peter Cushing, Diana Dors, Lesley-Anne Down A small anthology of short horror stories surrounding a creepy antique shop and its equally creepy proprietor. 
4:00 PM Black Sabbath (1963) Jacqueline Pierreux, Milly Monti, Michèle Mercier A three-story collection of short horror films hosted by Boris Karloff. 
6:00 PM Dead of Night (1945) Mervyn Johns, Roland Culver, Hartley Power While gathering at a country house, guests share their supernatural stories with each other as one of the guests begins to live out his recurring nightmare. 
8:00 PM House of Wax (1953) Vincent Price, Frank Lovejoy, Phyllis Kirk After having his showroom and prized wax figurines destroyed in a fire, a now-disfigured sculptor seeks revenge and a new museum of figurines, the latter of which he achieves with human corpses in place of the wax.
9:45 PM The Pit and the Pendulum (1961) Vincent Price, Barbara Steele, John Kerr After his sister mysteriously dies in a gloomy castle, her brother travels to the home, where he finds that there may be more to his brother-in-law than initially assumed. 11:15 PM The Masque of the Red Death (1964) Vincent Price, Hazel Court, Jane Asher A sadistic prince takes refuge with a hostage in his castle after the Red Death plague begins to ravage the neighboring village.  1:00 AM House on Haunted Hill (1958) Vincent Price, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long A wealthy couple invites a group of strangers to a haunted mansion with the bonus of receiving $10,000 if they can stay the entire night.  2:30 AM Theatre of Blood (1973) Vincent Price, Diana Rigg, Ian Hendry An actor takes inspiration from deaths depicted in Shakespeare plays as he exacts his revenge on the critics who rejected his work. 
4:30 AM The Last Man on Earth (1964) Vincent Price, Franca Bettoja, Emma Danieli A scientist finds himself the lone survivor of a plague that turns the rest of the world into vampires. 

Per usual, there are a few signature TCM Halloween picks on the lineup--House of Wax, Dementia 13 and House on Haunted Hill are the three that come to mind first--but there are a few others I haven't seen before. #ATVLoserSquad is about to be in full effect; I just need a good onesie and a better blanket for the fort this year. I sound about 8 years old, don't I? I accept and love myself regardless. 😎 lol See you soon!
