Suddenly, Last Summer is a drama based off of a Tennessee Williams work about a Southern family led by matriarch Katharine Hepburn, who resorts to drastic measures to silence the woman who saw her son's death, who just so happens to be her mentally ill niece. Through a sickly sweet Southern facade and a boatload of money promised to a doctor who quickly realizes he's in over his head, our matriarch tries to convince the doctor to lobotomize her niece.
