Daily Cinema: Dark Victory (1939)

Dark Victory stars Bette Davis as a spoiled socialite who takes life for granted until she develops a terminal brain tumor. As the tumor starts taking effect, she finds an inner strength and a determination to find happiness before her life is over. Sounds like a tearjerker and I can't wait. LOL I was caught between this one and two movies starring my queen, one of which airs in the morning and the other the final film in the day's lineup. I'm going to watch all three because, duh. It's Barbara Stanwyck.

If you watch Dark Victory, tag your thoughts with #atvdailycinema so I can see them, and if you watch any of the other films in the day's lineup (My Reputation or Baby Face, for example.....as totally non-biased recommendations of course) you can join the larger conversation by using the tags #suts or #summerunderthestars. See you tomorrow!
