If you've been with me through more than one SUTS, then you already know that I try to choose films that aren't always recognized when talking about an actor's best movies. The point of SUTS, at least on this site, is to watch a wide variety of movies and its highly likely that for the classic film buff, they've already seen the actor's greatest hits. I like watching films that aren't mentioned as much--the early films, the dark horses, the panned movies, etc. But there are also times where I like showing an actor's main vehicle, which brings me to And God Created Woman. This is the movie that launched Brigitte Bardot's career and the vehicle that she is largely known for. In this film, she plays a very sexually aware teenager who has the men abuzz. Two brothers vie for her affections, but while she returns the feelings for one brother, she still ends up with the other. I want to see how that plays out. This film airs right before the primetime choice, so hopefully you'll be able to watch. Hope you'll enjoy and I'll see you tomorrow!
