Daily Cinema: All About Eve (1950)

All About Eve stars Bette Davis (who will be featured on Sunday) as Broadway starlet Margo who gets much more than she bargained for when she meets enamored fan Eve. Anne Baxter plays the part of Eve, who quickly and cunningly works her way into Margo's life, alienating those closest to her as she slowly tries to take over. For me, it sounded like a 1950 version of Single White Female and I liked that. lol This film was on Netflix for quite some time but was removed earlier this year, so unfortunately the streaming links are all paid ones now. It's the primetime film, though, so hopefully you'll be able to watch it with me. See you tomorrow!
