Daily Cinema: The Third Day (1965)

The Third Day is a suspense flick starring George Peppard as a man recovering from amnesia following a car accident, only to discover that those closest to him despise him for reasons he still can't remember. Steve struggles to piece together exactly what happened in order to make up with his family, but this is complicated by his wife's cousin, played by Roddy McDowall. Oliver can't stand Steve because Steve is set to run the company Oliver intends to sell after the death of Steve's father-in-law. This film airs in the morning, but I couldn't find any online streaming links for it so per usual my advice is to try and DVR it if you can't catch it. We're at the halfway mark of this year's festival; what have you thought of our Daily Cinema choices so far? Any films you wish had been chosen instead? I hope you've been enjoying and I'll see you tomorrow!
