Hi! How was your weekend? As promised, I'm resuming our TNT preview posts, starting with this week's film, the 1958 French drama Les Cousins.
Wikipedia
Les Cousins stars Gerard Blain and Jean-Claude Brialy as cousins Charles and Paul. The two are polar opposites; where Charles is naive and unsuspecting, Paul is jaded and disillusioned. Charles leaves his home in the country to join Paul in Paris as they start law school together. A major crack in their relationship comes about when Charles falls in love with Florence, a friend of Paul's with a less-than-favorable reputation. Paul's true nature comes out as he drives his cousin to the point of hatred. Here's the trailer:
Les Cousins will be on this Thursday at 8pm EST. If you'd like to stream it online, you can watch it on Hulu(with a subscription ofc) and YouTube, although the latter doesn't have any English subtitles. This sounds pretty intriguing to me from the brief plot summaries I read online. I hope you'll be watching with me and I'll see you soon!
Back to the lands of HTML, CSS and other shit I don't understand,
