TNT Preview: The Sin of Madelon Claudet

After yet another month of putting up with my Double Features, Trifectas and options, I know you get tired of my indecisive ass and my selections for Thursdays. I'm sorry. lol But look, there's only one movie this week! We are on Previous TNT alert as The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie will be on right before this week's selection so if you didn't catch it before, you'll be able to see it on Thursday, but there is only one movie for our TNT. No extra recommendations, no suggestions, nada. Aren't ya proud of me? LOL. The last TNT of the month comes to us courtesy of the 1931 drama The Sin of Madelon Claudet

This movie stars Helen Hayes in her film debut as a single mother trying to support her son but ends up wrongly imprisoned. After her imprisonment, she turns to prostitution and other unsavory methods to put food on the table for her child and herself. I didn't read too much more into the plot of this movie, but so far I'm really intrigued as to how she got thrown in prison in the first place and how old she was when it happened. Usually when a woman is wrongly imprisoned, it has something to do with a man and being his accomplice or fall girl. Here's the trailer:

This movie will be on at our regular TNT time of 8pm EST.

Channel Listings:
Dish--132
DirecTV--256
AT&T U-verse--796
