SUTS Day 5: Ann Miller

Source
Hi! I don't usually have anything interesting to say up here anymore (although its arguable if I ever did lol) so these posts have become much simpler and shorter than previous years, but I forgot to mention something back on Day 1 when I was giving the run down. While I feature a film everyday for our Daily Cinema, I didn't mention that sometimes I'll do a Double Feature and feature two films for that day. Sometimes, like today, those two films run back to back in a true double feature, and other days I'll just feature two films. Today we've got an actual Double Feature. You can watch just one if you like, or you can join me for both. I try not to do these too often but don't be surprised if you see it a couple more times this month. I can be a little indecisive sometimes. lol

Today's lineup (all times in EST):

6:00 AM Room Service (1938)

7:45 AM You Can't Take It With You (1938)

Double Feature!
*Daily Cinema #1: 10:00 AM Tarnished Angel (1938)*

The ex-fiancee of a wealthy man decides to strike out on her own as a phony evangelist, stealing from her oblivious flock. She has a change of heart after legitimately healing one of her handicapped followers.

*Daily Cinema #2: 11:30 AM Too Many Girls (1940)*

Four college football stars are tasked with the difficult job of escorting an impulsive heiress to her new college, where she has a prospective beau she'd like to get closer to. The four 'bodyguards' do their jobs and inadvertently earn the ire of the heiress in the process, as she is unaware of the anti-romance clause they all signed and are paying no attention to her as a result.

1:15 PM Reveille with Beverly (1943)

2:45 PM Watch the Birdie (1951)

4:15 PM The Great American Pastime (1957)

5:45 PM The Opposite Sex (1956)

8:00 PM Hit the Deck (1955)

10:00 PM On the Town (1949)

12:00 AM Kiss Me Kate (1953)

2:00 AM Easter Parade (1948)

*Previous TNT Alert: 4:00 AM Small Town Girl (1953)*
When was it featured? Monday, July 27, 2015
