Suddenly is a 1954 crime/suspense film about a gang of paid assassins, led by Sinatra, who infiltrate and take over a suburban home in the small town of Suddenly as they prepare to assassinate the President, who is passing through on his way to go fishing. Sterling Hayden co-stars.
I'm changing things up a bit this year; a small synopsis is about all I'm going to do this time around. I've noticed that sometimes when I don't know much about a film I'll tell too much about it in the synopsis, so I'm trying to scale it back a bit. I'll see how it works. If you're online during this film--which is on quite late--you can use the tags #suts and #summerunderthestars to join the larger conversation, or #atvdailycinema so we can share our thoughts about Suddenly. See you tomorrow!
