Catch Up July
Howdy! I know you've already heard from me today, but I won't keep you too long. As you're aware by now, I've been having a problem with posting this summer, but I went completely ghost for the last week and I apologize. Independence Day happens to be one of my favorite holidays, so I'd planned a party for the family and that kept me occupied for the entire week, which means I paid even less attention to trying to keep to my blog schedule. That's my fault for not balancing the two, but the week was so hectic I had to choose one over the other. Having a large family isn't always the bee's knees, and I am never reminded more of this fact than on holidays and when planning events. It gets crazy around here. But anyway, I said all of that to say that this past week not considered, I know there have been more than a couple of posts over the last few months that should have gone up, yet never did. That is where Catch Up July comes into play.
It was a goal of mine this year to get rid of some of those drafted posts that I never got around to publishing, and it was also a goal to get some different content up on the blog this year. Catch Up July accomplishes both of those things for me. Now that the 4th is over, there won't be another holiday for awhile, so I have the time to dedicate to getting both blogs back on track. Remember that Vintage Spotlight from March that I never posted? Or the one from May? June? lol I didn't forget about them, but as I moved into the next month, that theme was what I had on the brain, so that previous post ended up falling by the wayside. By year's end, I'd like to be able to look back and see 12 Vintage Spotlights. I'd like to have 12 of each Files series, and I'd like the SUTS posts to be completed in full. Catch Up July is going to be a busy month, so I figure I'd warn you now, if you're subscribed to me on Twitter or Bloglovin' there will be a lot of activity going on.
By the time SUTS premieres on the 1st of next month (it's already that time again! ATV's SUTS Preview post is in the works as we speak), I hope to have all of those anticipated posts up so let me stop rambling and start writing. This blog also turns 5 next month, what should I do to celebrate? Let me know and I'll see you in a few days!
