I chose The Split for today's Daily Cinema, but it's on super late/early so I'd suggest DVR'ing it...or just hang in there til it comes on, if you're a night owl like me. The Split is about a group of thieves who come together to rob the LA Coliseum box office during a sold-out Rams game. The robbery is successful, but which of the thieves really has the money? Despite the fact that it sounds like it could make for some comedic moments, a la Ocean's Eleven, it's actually a drama. That was one of the reasons why I was intrigued.
