I loved a few of these movies when I saw them during Paul Newman's last SUTS feature, which was a couple of years ago I believe. My Daily Cinema choice for today is The Outrage, which is a remake of a 1950 Japanese film. Someone in the film is murdered, and the story is retold through the viewpoint of four witnesses whose accounts are contradictory. Through flashbacks, we see each viewpoint as it plays out and finally the truth. I thought that was an interesting premise and I've always been a sucker for 'whodunnit' movies. I would have picked Cat on a Hot Tin Roof because that was an amazing movie, but it's also one of the movies that is most synonymous with Paul Newman so I wanted to choose something different.
