TNT Preview: The Carey Treatment

Hi! I hope your weekend went well and you were able to get outside to enjoy the first day of spring! I'm really looking forward to leaving the house without a beanie and 5 layers of clothing. Anywho, let's get to this week's TNT, which is the 1972 suspense film The Carey Treatment

Wikipedia

James Coburn stars as Dr. Peter Carey in this film about a pathologist who starts working at a new hospital but ends up in a fight to clear his friend's name after the latter, a surgeon at the hospital, is framed for the death of the Chief Doctor's daughter. Following the young woman's death, the result of an improper and illegal abortion, Carey's amateur investigating starts to rub some of the hospital staff, including the Chief Doctor himself, the wrong way. Jennifer O'Neill, James Hong and Pat Hingle co-star in this movie, which was loosely based off of the 1968 Crichton novel A Case of Need. Here's the trailer:

The Carey Treatment airs this Thursday at our regular TNT time of 8pm EST. If you'd like to stream the film online instead, here's where you can watch it:

YouTube ($2.99) | Amazon Instant ($2.99)

This month had some pretty deep movies, right? I'm not entirely sure if we'll be doing a TNT next week since it's a repeat of a past SUTS Featured Film, but counting this one we'll still have had a month of solid films. While I love these types of films, I can't wait to get back to comedies and bad films we can giggle at. lol Hope you'll be watching with me and I'll see you soon!
