I chose Colleen for today's Daily Cinema. It's the first movie in the lineup, so if you work you'll have to DVR it. Colleen features today's star as a wealthy eccentric who purchases a dress shop for a gold digger, then hires her to run it. The person for who the movie is named, Colleen, is the real brains behind the business, as she keeps the books and even designs a few of the dresses for display, which she shows the millionaire's nephew in an effort to keep the business open. The two fall in love, but the hitch is that he is still married. It's a lot of hot mess going on. lol So that's why I picked it. Today's TCM tag is #PowellTCM, and our Daily Cinema tag is #atvpowell. See you tomorrow!
